FIN TAYLOR

Fin Taylor has made a name for himself as one of the most talked about comedians working in the UK. His successive Edinburgh shows “Whitey McWhiteface” and “Lefty Tighty Righty Loosey” were 5 star sell-out runs, and cemented his reputation as a fiercely funny and uncompromising social commentator. He went on to appear on Comedy Central’s ‘Roast Battle’ and ‘Live From the Comedy Store’ as well as making his own series for the Channel, “Fin Taylor plays Bullshit Bingo”.

“The most discussed, and critically lauded comedian of recent Edinburgh Fringes.” ★★★★★ The Scotsman

“Phenomenal…Taylor is on top of both his game and the zeitgeist.” ★★★★★ Chortle

“A gutsy, ingenious and fearless truth-teller with the jokes to back up his attitude”. ★★★★  The Times

“A talent with serious conviction and jokes to spare.” ★★★★ Independent

CATHERINE BOHART

Catherine Bohart is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor.

Catherine started performing stand-up in 2015 and has enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks of UK and Irish comedy. In 2016, she was a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Women, at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe, Catherine joined the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve and in 2018, she took her debut solo show, Immaculate, for a full, month-long run.  An autobiographical hour about her life as the bisexual, OCD daughter of a Catholic deacon, Immaculate received widespread critical acclaim.

Catherine’s burgeoning broadcasting career has seen her appear on Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle and BBC2’s The Mash Report. She has written material for BBC shows The Now Show, The News Quiz, Newsjack and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, co-hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra Comedy Club with Arthur Smith and appeared on Reasons To Be Cheerful with Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd. In 2017, Catherine was named on the BBC New Talent Hotlist, dedicated to listing the most exciting new broadcasting talent in the UK

“The sort of perfectly structured Edinburgh debut you always hope for and rarely get to see." ★★★★ The Times

"Pretty much the perfect comedy package.” Beyond The Joke

JOSH JONES

Ultra working class and totally adorable, Josh Jones is a high-energy performer who wins the audience over from the off. This super camp Manchester lad, can tackle a range of subjects from school yard politics to gay rights in Pakistan. Josh is able to improvise on the fly creating razor sharp observations, he is playful with the audience often leaving them wanting more of his brilliant, superbly delivered writing. Josh started comedy in the North West playing tough rooms to scary old drunk men, his flamboyant persona made him a easy target. However, this made Josh the strong comedian that he is today, a comic who can have the audience in the palm of his hands whilst also being able to beautifully disarm any heckler with his quick wit and cute but powerful put downs.

"He has a very engaging personality, and a back – story that should keep in routines for years to come." Chortle

MARK CRAM

For the last few years Mark has been plying his comedy trade across the UK. Constantly evolving, usually unpredictable; he is garnering positive reactions everywhere he goes.

A gay comedian who bucks the trend by being about as camp as a Die Hard boxset, Mark thrills crowds with his tales of dead end jobs, his family, being the less than grateful winner of Bedford Comedian of the Year (although we’re quite proud of his win) as well as his sexuality.

NIAMH MARRON

Niamh Marron award winning comedian, writer, actress & photographer. Winner of 'Show Me the Funny', Runner up of 'Funny Women Awards', London & Finalist of 'RTE New Comedy Awards'. She performed in the SECC Arena, Scotland & received 4 yeses on Britain's Got Talent. As seen on BBC, Sky, RTE & TV3.

She was 1 of 3 comedians chosen to perform in the infamous Vicar St venue for 'Dublin Does Comic Relief', and later again in the same venue along side comic legends Eddie Izzard, Tommy Tiernan and Dara O'Briain.

"A live wire, inside a firework, on top of a volcano."  RTE New Comedy Awards

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Standing a statuesque five foot five inches high (not in heels) and weighing in at eleven stone (on a good day) Ben is the current light-middleweight contender for compering champion of North London.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
