CALLY BEATON

Cally is a natural storyteller full of intelligent, distinctive and punchline-rich material. Her act is a rollercoaster ride of anecdotes, observations and stuff even your best mate wouldn’t admit to. She has appeared on John Lloyd’s Museum of Curiosity on BBC Radio 4 and QI, as well as regularly popping up on the New York City circuit.

“Cally Beaton is an exciting and hilarious talent, definitely one to watch. Sometimes you just know when someone’s got it – and she’s got it” Time Out

“Properly funny. A real find” Sandi Toksvig

CHRIS BETTS

Known for being both a quick-witted MC and a superb addition to any bill, Chris Betts has received numerous plaudits for his sharp material and relaxed stage presence.

Chris Betts’ mind is a curious place, where the philosophical meets the ridiculous. His shows are a perfect balance of incisive social satire and complete silliness.  He has a style that is equal parts confident, thoughtful, ridiculous and mischievous.

Betts began his comedy career in Montreal, Canada and has since performed all across Europe and North America.  He’s made appearances at comedy festivals all over the world including Edinburgh Festival Fringe, SXSW and the Zulu Comedy Festival.

"An enticing prospect, a Canadian who deals in off-kilter thoughts sharpened by the occasional prod at taboo topics." The Independent

FIONA ALLEN

Fiona came to prominence at the start of the 21st century as part of the innovative trio behind hit sketch show 'Smack the Pony'.  Alongside Sally Phillips and Doon Mackichan she created some of the most iconically daft sketches seen on British TV.  She joins us as she makes a return to live performing.

JENAN YOUNIS

Jenan is a London based comedian of Iraqi and Palestinian heritage. Her comedy has been described as a slap in the face. Don't sit within arm's reach!

"Smart, hip comedian – not to be missed." The List

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Standing a statuesque five foot five inches high (not in heels) and weighing in at eleven stone (on a good day) Ben is the current light-middleweight contender for compering champion of North London.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
