KERRY GODLIMAN

The charmingly straight-talking, quick-witted Kerry Godliman is one of the country’s best performers. Both an incredibly talented comedian and a phenomenal actor, Kerry is best known for her appearances on BBC’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Jack Dee’s Referendum HelpDesk, Celebrity Pointless and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats. She is also a regular on BBC Radio 4 with appearances on the esteemed The News Quiz, The Now Show and Just A Minute as well as her own series Kerry’s List.

Kerry’s acting talents have seen her receive critical acclaim for her role as Hannah in Ricky Gervais’ hit series Derek for Chanel 4, ITV1’s Bad Move where she plays Nicky, as well as starring in the Netflix feature film Mascots and Sky’s Carter’s Get Rich. She has also starred in Crackanory, Him And Her, Miranda, Getting On, Extras, Home Time, Our Girl and Channel 4’s Spoons, also appearing in several stage plays including England People Very Nice at the National Theatre.

Sally-Anne Hayward combines the things you shouldn't like about your best friend's mum with the sensibilities of Jack the Ripper.

Her confident persona and quick wit have rapidly made her a much sought-after comedian, whether working for The Comedy Store or hosting the comedy stage at Glastonbury.

She has proven her writing talents with numerous Edinburgh Fringe shows and can display a depth of material that marks out the best comic talent. She has performed all over the world and has provided tour support for Sarah Millican, Russell Howard and Russell Kane.

Fast rising young star Babatunde Aléshé is already one of the biggest names on the Black British comedy circuit.

With Nigerian heritage but married to a Jamaican, he’s become known for authentically drawing comedy from experiences which perfectly reflect the richness of modern day life, in all its diversity. Passionate about being the all-out family man, his stand up presents a hilariously fresh perspective on his newfound life. Each powerhouse performance oozes charisma and showcases impeccable stagecraft and comic timing.

Whilst regularly performing for thousands at iconic venues such as the O2 and Hackney Empire, Babatunde has also already authored provocative factual content drawing his own powerful story of growing up poor in inner city London.

Most recently he was selected to appear on Dave Chapelle’s live showcase The Process, solidifying his place as one of stand up’s most exciting breakout talents.

The man behind possibly the finest Fringe show title of all time ('A Not So Chubby Brown') is a prolific and exciting new comic.  A young Geordie Asian man combining fierce political satire with surreal storytelling, in just a few short years, his debut solo show: Newcastle Brown Male (that's another good one) gained critical acclaim at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival earning him a top pick of both BBC Radio 4 and the Huffington Post. It also gained him radio credits for BBC Radio 4's State of the Nation and BBC Asia Networks Big Asian Comedy Night.  In January 2017, Rahul became an award-winning comedian winning the prestigious NATYS, formerly the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award.

Good Ship Comedy is Camden Town's newest, friendliest stand-up comedy club, located at The Colonel Fawcett pub.  If you want to start the week with cheap, cheerful top quality laughs, we're the place for you! "A JOY TO GIG IN AND A JOY TO WATCH PERFORMERS GIG IN.” Aisling Bea (8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo) Every Monday night we put on ace shows featuring top headliners from the UK and international circuit plus some of the best award-winning new talent, all compered by our resident host Ben Van der Velde.   Tickets are £5 in advance and £7 on the door.
