Description
Since it's Christmas we're putting on a special 2-4-1 cracker show. In the first half our comics will be sharing their favourite classic jokes of all time and then in the second they'll be taking part in Edinburgh Fringe smash hit Comedy Auction, giving you the chance to bid on all sorts of daft and bizarre lots.
CLASSIC JOKE CLUB
Stand-up comedians share classic jokes handed down to them by their family. Chickens, mothers-in-law, doctors, elephants, Englishmen, Irishmen, Scotsmen (and other nationalities) are all welcome to walk into this bar. Discover the definitive answers behind the number of people required to change a light bulb, the adventures of an entire menagerie of creatures and why three representatives of the British Isles are always getting into such unexpected scrapes.
COMEDY AUCTION
What is anything really worth? Join our Chief Auctioneer and his team of "experts", as they find out. Collectible and charismatic curiosities are sold under auction. Each has a hidden reserve price. "Experts" explain why you should bid with your free 250 auction dollars. Whoever sells the most, wins their fee! Previous sales include a kazoo, an egg-cuber, Europe's smallest cheese grater, 20-year-old yak jerky and Tony Law's own interpretation of the Mona Lisa.
