ALFIE BROWN

Alfie’s firebrand style of comedy has been forged from years of pushing boundaries and experimentation.  Searingly honest about both himself and the world at large, he is a superb storyteller, astute social commentator and brave comic explorer prepared to find laughs in the darkest of caves.  Natural stage presence combined with explosive material makes for a thrilling performance every time he hits the stage.

"Thrilling ... extremely funny ... a distinctive dissenting voice." Evening Standard

“Mapping a route to a different class of humour." Guardian

“Establishing himself as one of the gutsiest, most compelling voices on the comedy circuit.” Time Out

"All the potential to be one of this country’s best comics: perceptive, provocative, political, and playful. And, most of all, damn funny." Chortle

ALISON SPITTLE

Writer and star of the sitcom 'Nowhere Fast' (RTE) as well as her own sky comedy short (Sky Arts) and  a regular guest host of the Guilty Feminist podcast, Alison is one of the most original, innovative and exciting new acts to come out of Ireland in recent years.

"A kind of genius." Irish Times

"If you enjoyed, say, Fleabag or Sharon Horgan's stuff, you'll probably love this." Irish Independent

ALEX KEALY

We presume that if Marcus Brigstocke ever manages to clone himself and then shed 25 years, he'd look and sound something like Alex Kealy.  Erudite, eloquent and sharply funny, he's adept at finding jokes in intensely gnarly socio-political issues, as well as his own personal shortcomings.

“Very high on laughs. The gag-per-minute ratio for this show is impressive... clever and imaginative.” The List

“Enjoyable stage presence with shrewd comic chops.” Fest

COLIN CHADWICK

Colin Chadwick is an Irish comedian and writer. His stand-up has been featured on RTE Two, BBC Radio 2 and 4extra. In 2015 he appeared at the Cat Laughs, Vodafone and Edinburgh festivals, where he was a finalist in the Amused Moose Laugh Off. A contributor to BBC Radio’s award-winning Newsjack, he is also the co-host of The Mess Around, Dublin’s monthly and longest running alternative comedy night.

“The man can certainly write a gag.” Chortle

“His quirky punchlines come thick and fast.” Broadway Baby

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
