MARLON DAVIS

Marlon Davis may burst with the ebullient energy of a five year old overdosing on Haribo, but he is a long established circuit headliner whose impish routines have won over punters all over the globe.  He has recently appeared on Live at the Apollo and Comedy Store Live and tour all over the world.

"Bursts on to the stage like a breath of fresh air, with impish grin, boyish enthusiasm and an effortlessly open, confident style." Chortle

SOOZ KEMPNER

Sooz did her very first stand-up gig in 2009. She thought, "what have I got to lose?". It turned out doing stand-up means you lose an awful lot of money. The upside was a reputation as one of the most creative stand-up/cabaret crossover acts, winning best newcomer at the Musical Comedy awards and the Variety Award at Funny Women.

Since then she’s built up a formidable reputation as a cracking festival act mixing her Aguilera-esque vocals with deadly comic timing and brilliantly grubby stories from the seamier side of professional singing.

"Chutzpah by the bucketload." Fest

"An under-sung talent in top form." British Comedy Guide

CHELSEA BIRKBY

Tapping into subjects such as mental health, da club and Pitbull, Chelsea makes difficult topics easy to laugh at.  She is a frequent new act of the year finalist and her mind his a hive of off-kilter comedy invention.
"Good gags." Chortle

SAM PAMPHILLON

Sam Pamphilon is a London based Stand Up, he was the co-creator and team captain on Dara O’Briains Go 8 Bit’ which ran for three series on Dave. He is taking his revealing and shockingly honest debut hour ‘Everything I Love Makes Me Sick’ to Edinburgh in August.

"An unusually high standard of innovation." The List

"Wonderfully funny." Time Out
"Lively and ambitious."
The Times

ALEX FARROW

A stand-up comic who mixes his passion for education, religion, history and teaching philosophy to students who may not want to hear about it, Alex is an inventive, smart, accessible and very funny new stand-up comic..
"Jaw-achingly funny." Oxford Times

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
