SAM CAMPBELL
Since moving to the UK just 2 1/2 years ago, Sam Campbell has bewitched audiences and critics alike with his absurdist, warm and original comedy. Already lauded back in his native Australia, Sam has become a phenomenon on these shores, winning the biggest prize in comedy - Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2022 - followed quickly by being crowned champion of Taskmaster in 2023. Channeling The Mighty Boosh, Vic & Bob, Eddie Izzard and his own unique bizarro point of view, Sam is truly a one-in-a-million comedian.
"A nutball with deceptive
precision...exhausting, exhilarating and a touch of genius."
The Times
"Campbell's imagination produces
wonderfully adhesive images. He’s certainly got his wee-small-hours
randomness operating at a fine comic pitch here."
Guardian
“A wizard of extreme
eccentricity...he is our pick of an exquisite comedy star to
be." Sydney Morning Herald
ROSCO MCLELLAND
Scottish Comedian Rosco McClelland is riding high on the current Scottish comedy revival, he’s one of its brightest stars with professional accolades to prove he is something special. Twice nominated Best Newcomer at the Scottish Comedy Awards and winner of the Scottish Comedian of the year in 2016, his endearing onstage presence has impressed judges and audiences alike.
His offbeat musings and exaggerated visual imagery feel natural and not forced and he never fails to leave audiences wanting more. He has sold out shows at Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – continually bringing performances that show his comedic brilliance.
In 2024, he was shortlisted for the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of
Glasgow award – a prestigious award which aims to celebrate the
city and the famous warmth, resilience, and humour of Glasgow.
Rosco had a hugely successful 2024 Edinburgh run with his show
‘Sudden Death’ exploring questions of life and death and his very
open honest reveal that he is living with Long QT Syndrome. He
received four stars from publications including The Scotsman and
Chortle and was named one of the 12 must-see comedy Fringe shows in
2024 by The Rolling Stone.
"Mcclelland’s Gravelly and animated onstage presence emitted
continuous laughter from the audience." The

LOUISE LEIGH
Louise Leigh is living proof that a midlife crisis doesn’t have
to involve a Harley Davidson and an underwear model
(yet). Award-nominated Louise Leigh wanted to do comedy when
she was sixteen, but it took her until her forties to get round to
it. Now, she brings daftness, deftness and some brilliant physical
comedy to top comedy clubs all over the country.
“A naturally funny woman.” Chortle
AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:
BEN VAN DER VELDE
One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.
"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine
“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.” Huffington Post
